What to include in your job post

Hardscape jobs price very differently based on details a photo can't always capture on its own — note the approximate square footage or wall length, the material you have in mind (if any), site access, and whether any demolition or grading is needed first. The more of this you include up front, the more confidently providers can bid, and the less likely you are to see a low bid get revised upward once the provider actually sees the job.

Licensing note

Hardscape work is usually covered by general contractor or landscaping-contractor licensing requirements rather than a separate hardscape-specific license, though some states and municipalities have permit requirements for retaining walls above a certain height or structures near property lines — that's a property-specific and local question GroundBid doesn't verify on your behalf.
